Today is the halfway point of the Region 3 camp at Oklahoma University. Cole has been training at OU along with about 40 from the Region. They are all working hard and the coaches have been phenomenal with the guys. New skills have been achieved as well as new friendships.

Today was a half day so the team went to the pool for some fun and relaxation followed by a trip to the Sooner Store. Below is a picture of the guys and one with the coaches with their Region 3 Team Camp Shirt which was donated by the Ricky Deci Foundation. A special thanks to Hideo Mizoguchi for making this happen. The continued support for the gymnastics community by the Deci Foundation is greatly appreciated!!

Cole and team mates enjoyed a summer party and 4th of July at Cole's house. Burgers, hot dogs, sun and fun were had by all!

Cole is looking forward to Region 3 Camp at Oklahoma University beginning July 11. Training and room assignments have been made for the week experience.

Cole represented his team at the WOGA Banquet in Allen, TX on June 18. Many coaches, friends and family were there for a delicious meal and congratulatory speeches by Valeri Liukin and Yevgeny Marchenko.

Cole was honored today at Parkhill Jr. High Awards Ceremony. Cole received three awards! He had the highest GPA in English, had straight A's on all report cards and was above the 90% in all semesters.

Cole had a very good first year JO experience as the only L9 first year as the alternate on the Region 3 team. Results are posted from Cole's Friday competition. Cole is proud of his team mate Tristan Burke and gym mate Yaroslav Pochinka, making the Men's National Team! Region 3 Men won the regional competition and WOGA club was 2nd!

Cole had a great meet earlier today at the Region III Championships in New Orleans, LA. He finished seventh in the all-around with a 77.15. He placed ninth on pommel horse scoring a 12.700 and seventh on vault with a 14.050. He qualified to the Level 9 Junior Olympic National Championships in Knoxville, TN. In addition, Cole, along with top 7 boys, made the 2010 Regional Team where they will train at the University of Oklahoma this summer, July 11-16. Cole is proud of team mate Tristan Burke 2nd AA and WOGA Gym mates: Ryan Sheppard 5th AA and Yaroslav Pochinka 6th AA, also making the Regional III Team. Congratulations Cole!

Cole competed this past weekend at the Level 9 Texas State Championships. He finished 16th overall, 7th on pommel horse and 12th on vault. He qualified to the Region III Championships in New Orleans, LA on April 9-11. Good job Cole!

Yesterday Cole competed at the 2010 Houston National Invitational where he finished 12th in the all-around. He placed 6th on pommel horse and 12th on vault. Good job Cole.

Cole competed this past weekend at the 2010 Palm Tree Classic in California. He finished 10th in the all-around out of 29 gymnasts. He placed 8th on pommel horse and fifth on vault scoring a 12.15 and 13.4 respectively. Full results have been posted from the meet.

Cole just finished competing at the GymMaster's Invitational today, where he did an outstanding job! He finished second in the all-around scoring a 75.8. Good job Cole! Full results have been posted.

Cole began his 2009-2010 level 9 season today at the Valeri Liukin Invitational. He finished ninth all-around out of 49 competitors! Full results have been posted.

Cole's 2009-2010 schedule has been posted. Cole's first competition will be Valeri Liukin Invitational in Frisco, Texas on December 11-13.

Cole had a great time at Camp Longhorn in Burnet but is ready to get back to the gym and training for his L9 competitive season.

Cole had a fantastic time at Region 3 Camp. He made many new friends and learned new skills, which he is excited about! Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Mark Arvidson for hosting Cole and to Eagle's Wings, for a terrific experience!

Cole leaves for Region 3 camp today in Allen, Texas. Although he will be close to home training, he will be living with a family for during the camp for a full training experience. Thank you to Eagle's Wings for hosting the L7-9 Region 3 Camp! Today we added a new page, service. Cole and his friends recently worked at the North texas Food Bank. Cole had a rewarding experience attending the National Beta Club Convention in Dallas. Being a student-centered organization, The National Beta Club continually seeks ways to develop and nurture elementary school students by providing opportunities and experiences that enable them to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service and leadership.

Cole finished 12th in the all-around as well as second on still rings at the 2009 Region III Championships in Hurst, Texas. Cole, along with top 12 boys, made the 2009 Region III Level 7 Junior Development Team. Region III will be sponsoring a 4 day camp for these gymnasts this summer from June 11-14 in Allen, Texas. Cole competed last night at the Level 7 State Championships in Denton, Texas. He did really well, where he finished sixth in the all-around wth a 87.3. He won a silver medal on vault with a 15.3. Cole qualified to Level 7 Regionals in Dallas, Texas in two weeks. Also, Cole's WOGA team placed first. Congratulations Cole! Full results have been posted from the meet.
